How to Prepare for your 4th of July Party

Boom! Pow! Those are the sounds of fireworks, as you watch them from your backyard while eating some barbeque essentials! That’s right: Independence Day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate America than with some friends? If you’re looking to host a gathering at your house, then here are some helpful tips to prepare!

Get your Snacks Early

One of the best ways to prepare for your Fourth of July party is to get your snacks ahead of time. Sometimes, when you wait until the last minute, it’s possible that some of your favorites could be sold out.

If that’s the case, then you can always visit your local dollar store for generic look-alikes or the actual brand names (you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what you might find)!

Stock up on Summer Essentials

Hosting your gathering during the day? If that’s the case, then it’s best to get some summer essentials for the big day! From sunscreen to sunglasses, no item is off limits to make your guests feel welcome and comfortable at your party!

To get your guests in the spirit, you can stop by your local party supply store and purchase a red, white, and blue hats, sunglasses, and other accessories to make your party one to remember!

Provide Sources of Shade

Looking to keep your guests cool all day long? Stop by your local home improvement store and pick up a few umbrellas! When doing this, you can find red, white, and blue beach umbrellas and place them around your yard!

In addition to umbrellas, you can take it a step further and get an outdoor canopy — which can be placed anywhere and assembled in no time! Once the big day is over, these items will come in hand, throughout the summer, to keep you and your guests cool!

Supply the Water

Nine out of ten times, guests won’t speak up when they’re dehydrated since they’ll feel as if they're an inconvenience. To avoid this, supply a large ice bucket, filled with water bottles.

Not only will this keep your guests hydrated throughout the day, but it will also be very convenient for them to grab what they need!
