What Causes Poor Indoor Air Quality?

What’s the first word that comes to your mind when you think of pollution?
For most of us, it’s probably “factory,” “cars,”
or “buses.” But contrary to what most people think, pollution
is more of a threat to us inside than outside. According to the United States
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the air in your home is seven times more polluted than the air outside.
The first step in reducing pollution is identifying it. If you’re
worried about your home’s air quality, these are the most common
pollutants in each of your rooms:
